Action fraud alerts in the app
Verify suspicious transactions and confirm if they are genuine or fraudulent

Tap on the Standard Bank Fraud Alert message sent to your mobile device.
Step 2 of 7
Sign in to your mobile Banking App.
Step 3 of 7
On the Message Centre inbox screen, tap on Anti-Fraud and Security to see your fraud alert message.
Step 4 of 7
The fraud alert message for the suspicious transaction will be displayed for you to confirm if this transaction is fraudulent or genuine.
If you’ve not made this payment, tap NO to confirm that this is a fraudulent transaction.
Step 5 of 7
Once you've confirmed that you do not recognise this payment, your account will be temporarily suspended. A Standard Bank consultant will call you to provide urgent assistance to protect you against fraudulent activities.
Use the back arrows (in the header) to return to your home screen.

If you made the payment tap YES to confirm that the transaction is genuine.
Step 7 of 7
We'll acknowledge your confirmation that the transaction was genuine.
Use the back arrows (in the headers) to return to your home screen.
Note:
If you don’t respond to a Fraud Alert message with an hour, the alert will expire.
